BMW N54 & N55 E9X E8X Spool 10 Micron In-Line Fuel Filter Unit

The Spool 10-micron in-line filter unit for N54 and N55 E9X, E8X and E6X BMWs replaces the tiny, restrictive filter at the high pressure fuel pump with a high-flow, washable unit.

Why you need it

The factory filter on the Continental HPFP does the last stage of filtering before fuel reaches the pump and injectors, but it is small, restrictive and can even rupture. That gets worse with higher-flow parts like the Spool Helix overdrive. This unit uses a washable, E85-compatible stainless 10-micron mesh in an aluminum body and flows up to 6 GPM.

• 6AN nylon-coated braided stainless PTFE line to replace the OEM rubber short low pressure line
• Ethanol analyzer kit with short or long line (if selected)

Good to know

Choose at checkout whether to add a Spool ethanol analyzer kit (short line or long line) or skip it if you already have one or don't need it. The analyzer kit includes a Continental in-line ethanol sensor, Bluetooth analyzer, wiring harness and E85-safe braided lines. If your low pressure lines are already modified, you may need a custom kit. The filter shown in photos is an older model.
